Are You a Blogger for Social Change?

Posted by ajlovesya on September 17, 2008

If you have a passion for change and express that passion on a blog, there is an upcoming event that may be of interest: the ChangeMakers/ChangeBloggers NYC MeetUp

Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 05:00 PM – 08:00 PM (ET)

Naomi Hirabayashi, who is coordinating the event describes it as follows:

"After speaking with Alexandra Rampy who is organizing the 1st ChangeMakers/ChangeBloggers MeetUp in DC– we decided NYC needed an event as well! Since New York City is the hub of media and marketing and home to some of the most influential and passionate people in the globe, we want to get all do-gooders together to discuss ways in which new media is playing a role in activism and social change."

It's free and a great way to connect with like minded people!

Woot! Woot! Thanks for spreading the work about the Changeblogger movement! If you are a changeblogger, stop by the changebloggers wiki and be sure to add your blog to the group: http://changebloggers.pbwiki.com/FrontPage. I also encourage you to join our NING community too.

    =)
