ChangeMaker/ChangeBlogger NYC Meet-Up this Week!
Posted by ajlovesya on October 7, 2008
If you are interested in bringing about social change, and use blogs to do so, then come to the ChangeMakers/ChangeBloggers Meetup in NYC this Friday, October 10th. Below is a message from the coordinator the event. I’ll be there!
_______________________________________________
The event will be held Friday, October 10th at the NonProfit Coordinating Committee in New York office. The event will kick off around 5:30/6 (feel free to come early, we'll be setting up/hanging out around 5) however please do not hesitate to come late- we have the room until around 7:30 and we can always meander to a local bar, restaurant if we want to chat more.
We have representatives from Google, DoSomething.org, Joyful Child.org, Brazen Careerists, Huffington Post, NonProfit Newbies, etc! Not to mention Alex Steed who is stopping by on his 30 city tour to meet with millennial movers and shakers, as well as GOOD Magazines for everyone.
It's been so exciting to see the enthusiasm and interest from NYC do-gooders for this event. Our goal is to make this the first of many MeetUps, discussing innovative ways to impact real world change. We look forward to seeing you all on Friday!

Thanks for joining us for the Philly ChangeMakers/ChangeBloggers event in November.
If you have some time, perhaps we can do some brainstorming as to location and possible sponsors.
Let me know!

Wow… I wish I could be there. Really. Maybe they’ve got something similar down here in Atlanta? I’ll google it.
